Macbryde Home Prices to Remain Consistent

Following on from the Chancellor’s decision to abolish the Stamp Duty Tax in England worth up to £300,000, we are delighted to announce that we will not be hiking up our prices!

Many people have stated that because of the abolishment of this tax, homebuilders will hike their prices to compensate themselves, something which we believe would be unfair to potential homeowners.

Our Commercial Director, Gwyn Jones, confirmed that there will be no price hikes in the following statement:

“The success of our recent developments across North Wales and the North West of England have demonstrated just how desperately needed affordable homes are.

“Whether our purchasers are stepping on the property ladder for the first time, or making a second-step, they need to be assured that they’re investing in a quality home at an affordable price and, simply, it would be counter-productive for us to use this essential move by the Chancellor to significantly increase our own prices.”

First-time Buyers

We believe that by not drastically amending our home prices, we are offering first-time buyers a fairer chance at embarking onto the property ladder in the UK, something we at Macbryde Homes strongly encourage.

We believe that along with the removal of Stamp Duty combined with the use of the Government backed Help to Buy scheme, 2018 will be a positive year for first-time buyers to get on the property ladder at developments such as Oakley Park in Ellesmere Port.
