Successful family fun day for the Oliver King Foundation
There was a great turn out at the event in Sainsbury’s, and Macbryde Homes’ Claire and Vikki took our giant Winnie the Pooh toy along so people could guess his weight for a chance to win tickets to Chester Zoo.
Vikki said: “We had a great day, despite the weather and nearly losing the gazebo in a gust of wind! But more importantly, it was a pleasure to raise money for such a worthy cause.”
“We also really enjoyed meeting people from Woolton Village and telling them all about our new Kingswood Manor development. We can’t wait to see them all at the opening of the new show home.”
The Oliver King Foundation
The Oliver King Foundation was established to raise money for and awareness of Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS) in memory of Oliver King who passed away suddenly in March 2011.
Money raised for the charity is used to raise awareness of SADS in communities, as well as to buy defibrillators, provide training and support a screening programme that helps identify problems in the heart.
